Travelogue: Sydney 2013 Day 1

Totally forgotten about this space since Dayre. I'm terribly sorry to myself. (not sure if I've any readers at all at this point, if I do, than sorry to you too!)

Finally took some time off between study and work to organize the photos from Sydney. It's way overdue as the Sydney trip was in August last year! This trip will be divided into 4 parts as I've spent 5 days there. Most of the evenings were spent in Chinatown though, due to the parents need for Chinese food. There's quite a lot to see there anyways, so I'm not complaining!

To be honest, the trip was kinda not what I expected. Way too many chinese for me to really believe that I was in Australia. But still happy nonetheless. My love for traveling is unceasing and thirst to see the world will not be quenched.

This trip to Sydney was on tour and the first day was free and easy. Upon arrival, we checked in to our hotel and went out on a search for lunch! Lunch was just down the street from where we stayed. A little shop that sells Korean/Japanese food by actual Koreans. I guess Sydney is where most people go to for studies, therefore the general crowd is very international.

Since everyone was feeling a little tired after the flight, after lunch we went to a few fishing tackle shops before heading to the Opera House. The bf, LurerStyle, was kind of disappointed that he couldn't get anything. His dad, on the other hand, bought a new rod! We joined his parents for a cuppa before heading on to join the House Tour. The boyfriend is really sweet for obliging with me, cause his parents weren't interested with the tour at all. Really learnt a lot about the architectural aspect of that place. To end the day, we went back to Chinatown and had Chinese food. No pictures were taken, because it's chinese food. HAHA!

Check back soon for more updates on the Sydney trip!

End of Term 4

Just ended the exams today! So pardon me for the lack of posts! 2 more terms till graduation! I wouldn't say I'm looking forward because I still want to savor this sweet life of being a student. This is the prime time where I'm independent enough, and apart from studying, I can go and enjoy myself! Cannot imagine dragging myself to work every morning and sit in a cubicle for 8 hours. Then after, dragging my feet home, too tired to do anything else. Unless of course, it's something I enjoy doing! Which in this case, I'm praying to God that my plans will work out!

Anyway, this was what I was up to the entire evening after the paper! Rushed home to feed the baby girl and off to Serangoon Gardens for some tasty steak and pizza. I will remember to take pictures the next time! To hungry to think today! Thereafter, we strolled around the area and decided to do this:

Grabbed a bottle of pretty looking sake. (Not because it's pink but because the bf likes sweet alcohol) And also tried out this tiramisu from The Wicked Garlic. It's actually pretty good! Comparable to The Tiramisu Hero, I must say. Shall attempt to make my own this weekend. I'm off to indulge in my beauty sleep! I've been lacking of it! Till the next! Promise to do up my Sydney Travelogue soon!

Xoxo!
