End of Term 4

Just ended the exams today! So pardon me for the lack of posts! 2 more terms till graduation! I wouldn't say I'm looking forward because I still want to savor this sweet life of being a student. This is the prime time where I'm independent enough, and apart from studying, I can go and enjoy myself! Cannot imagine dragging myself to work every morning and sit in a cubicle for 8 hours. Then after, dragging my feet home, too tired to do anything else. Unless of course, it's something I enjoy doing! Which in this case, I'm praying to God that my plans will work out!

Anyway, this was what I was up to the entire evening after the paper! Rushed home to feed the baby girl and off to Serangoon Gardens for some tasty steak and pizza. I will remember to take pictures the next time! To hungry to think today! Thereafter, we strolled around the area and decided to do this:

Grabbed a bottle of pretty looking sake. (Not because it's pink but because the bf likes sweet alcohol) And also tried out this tiramisu from The Wicked Garlic. It's actually pretty good! Comparable to The Tiramisu Hero, I must say. Shall attempt to make my own this weekend. I'm off to indulge in my beauty sleep! I've been lacking of it! Till the next! Promise to do up my Sydney Travelogue soon!

Xoxo!

22nd Birthday

My 22nd birthday this year was celebrated with a small party together with my friends. Felt so blessed and happy to have them around. The night was spent playing Heads Up! For those of you who have not heard of it, it is a charades game app created by Ellen Degeneres. Had super lots of fun! A rather small celebration as it happened to coincide with the last day of our exams. Flowers from the boyfriend. Super love the combination together with my favorite sunflower.

Till the next of Sydney Travelogue!

Equarius & SEA World

Last week, the boy is sweet and kind enough to bring me on a staycation. I had actually wanted to plan for a weekend to go over to Bali for a short getaway, but due to our work/school schedule the plan did not work out. Nonetheless, I enjoyed myself very much and love him for being so endearing to plan this for me.

View from the bedroom. We had a clear view of Adventure Cove. Which is also the deciding moment where we choose not to go there, cause the snorkeling pool was so small! Not worth the money in our opinion!

Humongous bedroom and toilet which is about one and half times of my living room.

OOTD (2nd day): Hat from H&M, Top bought over from a friend, Shorts from Pull&Bear, Bag from Rebecca Minkoff
Above photos are taken using my S2. Yes! Oldie but goodie! Although I'm gonna try to change to S4 soon!

The orchid bowl found in Equarius lobby amongst the sofa seats.

And this is what I call the Polkadot/Leopard print fish! Also, there's this fish which I named it McQueen fish but we didn't manage to take a picture of it. I named it so because the print on the fish reminds me of the McQueen Skull Scarf.
Love, love, LOVE the photos of the jellyfishes. Look so artsy fartsy! After the wonderful tour in SEA aquarium, we headed over to Vivo for dinner at Poulet and to watch The Great Gatsby. Totally fell in love with Leonardo DiCaprio all over again. *Spoiler alert!* There's this scene where he is drenched in rain water, and his face just reminds me of him during his Titanic/Romeo & Juliet days. Totally cute.

OOTD: Hat and Dress - both from H&M, Bag - from Rebecca Minkoff

The Month of Exams

2nd week of January and I am very happy to be blogging. Didn't do that very often towards the end of last year. I shall try and see if it's possible to work on that this year. It's not a resolution, so no promises.

As you may have guessed from the title of this entry, I am very stressed out during this period, the period of exams. I have just finished my HRM paper yesterday and have an upcoming paper on Economics. Not my favorite subject at all. To make things worst, I am very traumatised by the previous paper I took in UOL last year May. Nevertheless, I shall put forth my best effort cause I cannot afford to fail one more time!

Actually, being in UCD has its perks. Once 2013 ends, it means I'm also towards the end of my studies. Its also means bigger life plans, like entering the workforce and all. I am really looking forward! Enough of all the updating of my otherwise, not very interesting school life, here's an update on last Wednesday, 9 January, where we celebrated my best friend's (of eleven years) birthday at Hard Rock.

I think this picture is super unglam cause I am seeing an almost double chin there. Shall post up anyways cause I think it's so funny that we both have such a HUGE contrast in color! hahaha

A group photo with the birthday girl. She's right in the center of the picture, and the rest are her friends and of course, her boyfriend.

One more of me and the lover, while we walk back to the car after dinner. The group headed to Mink for the countdown to her actual day. We didn't head down due to, yes, my paper on Friday. I didn't take much pictures that day cause I forgotten that I actually brought my camera along. I shall also try my best to be more hardworking as a blogger in terms of taking pictures! heh

This is just a random picture that I just took. I am currently reading Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert. A bit slow, I know. I haven't even watch the movie at all but I shall do so after finish reading this book. Alright, I shall stop here for now and head out to dinner. Next post, shall post on my Christmas dinner and countdown party.

Happy New Year

Happy New Year one and all!
It's the new year again, and I'm getting excited for the upcoming plans this year. I did not make any resolutions since I don't keep them anyway. But I would love to know what plans or resolutions have y'all got for 2013!

Signing off, I wish everyone with lots of love and good health this year. :)
