Chloe New Fragrance Launch

Finally got the time to put up this post. Besides, I'm having trouble sleeping but Mr Loh's well deep in it. If you've read my tweet, you'd already know that last Thursday evening, my sister and I have been invited to Chloe's New Frangrance Launch event organised by Harper's Bazaar. The event was held at Graze - 38 Martin Road. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by my sister's friend, G, and was invited to the photo op wall to take a picture with gorgeous looking models holding onto white roses (Chloe's signature). The picture was presented to us in this clean frame shortly after we were seated. Super impressed!

I must say that this event was really an eye opener for me! Much for me to learn when it comes to marketing a product. After we were seated, 2 ladies came forward immediately and offered us a hand massage using the new hand cream which has the same scent as the fragrance their about to launch. First impression was amazing. The scent was rich in floras but yet not too overpowering. It was very much a girl-next-door kind of scent. And of course, waitresses were constantly serving us rounds of orange juice and canapes. Needless to say, my favorite was of course the salmon. :)

To kick start the event, Harper's Bazaar Editor Lauren Clarke Jenson was invited to give a short speech before handing the time over to a representative from Chloe. She explained to us the background of Chloe, as well as why white rose. I believe many of you might already know. It was an eye opener as I had only started exploring perfume. Then we were invited to this beautifully furnished room. Grass carpet. More photo walls. Two white tables carefully arranged with all of Chloe's new products. All of us helped ourselves trying out the scent bottled in such exquisite glasses.

A few moments of enjoying the new scent, we were ushered outside back to our seats. A surprise was awaiting us! A little white package! The ladies from Chloe and Harper's conducted for us to learn how to make a paper rose using white tissues, piping and green art paper. All the materials were prepared beforehand already, so all we needed to do was to carefully roll the white tissues around the piping to create first the bud, then the whole flower! Look at our delighted faces after we've completed. Completely Satisfied! Lastly, samples given from Chloe! Was surprised to find such a pretty bottle inside instead of the usual spray! We got a mini hand cream as well! So happy!
Ending this post with a picture of myself! (Pfft! Camwhore!) Haha But I think the backdrop make me look really pretty here! By the way, the outfit I wore is Love Mi's Racerback Chiffon Dress!
